Property Management

The key focus of the unit is anchored on ensuring that all managed properties retain investment value through release of returns, in a portfolio-based approach. This unit provides the highest quality, full-service property management of industrial, office and retail properties. The department is responsible for marketing and letting of space, lease and rent renewals, budgeting and building services management and effective management of the tenant-landlord relations. In addition, the department co-ordinates with the Facilities department to ensure that properties are maintained in-line with company policy to provide quality and functionally suitable premises to our tenants.

Property Research and Development

This unit is dedicated to increasing your profits! We are  committed to knowledge-based action and results to ensure our investor funds are not only protected but grown in real terms. Our research thrust separates Mashonaland Holdings from our competitors. The combined research and development unit responds to new space requirements in the occupier and investment markets through sourcing potential investment opportunities, acquisition and development for onward sale or portfolio retention as income earning assets. Cognisance is taken of everchanging market trends and the requirements of clients for affordable quality accommodation.  Added to this is the requirement of shareholders for a fair return on their investment.  The division, in its development thrust, strives to achieve an efficiently diversified portfolio. The department, in conjunction with the Property Management division, is also involved in virtual leasing and pre-selling of new developments as a strategy of managing the market risk.

Facilities Management

Our Facilities Management is premised on the need to coordinate multiple disciplines to ensure functionality of the built environment by integrating people, places, processes and technology. Recognition is given to the strong relationship between worker productivity and working environment and hence the need to create an environment that strongly supports the primary objectives of our customers. Through regular benchmarking with peers in the market and outsourcing best practice, we continuously endeavour to optimise operating costs whilst improving service delivery for our tenants thereby assisting them achieve their own profitability goal. In addition to providing services to our properties under management, the division provides Corporate Real Estate management services, on a commercial basis, to external clients.
